IPWEA is the peak association for infrastructure asset managers and professionals whom deliver public works and engineering services.
IPWEA has divisions in every state in Australia, as well as New Zealand and Canada. In recent times, the organisation has expanded its traditional local government engineering focus to broader public works, covering all tiers of government as well as the private sector, which comprises 40% of IPWEA membership.

Our purpose is to enhance the quality of life for communities in Queensland by advancing the skills, knowledge and resources available to those involved in the planning and provision of public works and services. We are not just engineers! We welcome anyone actively involved in the delivery of public works and services in Queensland including urban planners and designers, technical officers, supervisors, fleet managers, operational managers, and those providing products and services for our communities.

NAMS Canada is a not-for-profit registered company established on 17th November 2014.
