This will be an intensive but practical and rewarding course consisting of 6 Modules, with a new module each week after commencement. The course closes at the Final Assignment Due date and will then be archived and remain accessible for 12 months.

Based on a decade of experience in promoting aligning of accounting standards with infrastructure management in Australia, IPWEA is pleased to be able to expand these concepts to apply on the global stage. This International Infrastructure Financial Management Manual (IIFMM) has evolved from the Australian Infrastructure Financial Management Guidelines which were first published in 2009. Since then we have had increasing world-wide interest in the need to better manage infrastructure assets.

The Manual provides the practical “how to” tools for asset and financial management practitioners to report and manage infrastructure assets in a consistent way, based on the Accounting Standards applicable in various Countries. The Manual is all about getting asset and financial professionals, all speaking a common language and taking a common approach.

The IIFMM is provided complimentary for the course duration.

CPD Points

On average, each module will take approximately 2 – 4 hours to complete the mandatory learning activities. Additionally, you will be required to complete your final assignment. Your final assignment may take 10 – 20 hours to complete, depending upon your background in interpreting financial statements. We provide you with a resource on how to interpret financial statements.

Total estimated effort to complete the course and final assignment is 30 – 40 hours. Eligible for CPD by Engineers Australia (EA) in accordance with EA Guidelines.

Certificate

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded an IPWEA Professional Certificate in Infrastructure Financial Management.
